Ingredients You’ll Need For This Recipe
  • 1 box (2 sheets) of Pepperidge Farms puff pastry sheets
  • 3 red apples (I used Fuji apples)
  • ½ lemon, juice
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Powdered sugar, optional
Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare a muffin tray with nonstick spray.

Step 2: Wash the apples, cut them in half lengthwise, and remove the core.

Step 3: Slice the apples thinly widthwise, keeping the open side of the apple down.

Step 4: Put the thinly sliced apples in a bowl and add half a lemon juice.

Step 5: Add 1-2 teaspoons of sugar and a small pinch of cinnamon to the apples and mix until well combined. Set aside the remaining sugar and cinnamon.

Step 6: Melt the butter and brush it onto one side of each puff pastry sheet.

Step 7: Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon together and spread it over the buttered puff pastry side.

Step 8: Cut each puff pastry sheet into six even strips.

Step 9: Place a few slices of apple along the strip of puff pastry and fold it over so that the apple slices are in between.

Step 10: Gently roll up the apple and pastry into a rose shape and place it in the prepared muffin tray. Repeat until all 12 roses are rolled up.

Step 11: Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 12: Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.

And that’s it—Puff Pastry Apple Roses that look like a masterpiece but are easy enough for anyone to create! These little beauties bring together the perfect balance of buttery, flaky pastry and sweet, spiced apples for a dessert that’s as satisfying to eat as it is to admire.

Whether you’re making them for a special occasion or just because they’re sure to impress every time. So, roll up those sleeves and let your inner baker shine—your kitchen (and your taste buds) will thank you!
